You can now access to Auctionity Saleroom. Let us take you through all of the main features you can enjoy when using the Saleroom.
As previously announced by Etienne Roudeix, Auctionity is now live for everyone. Auctionity is aimed at everyone interested in auctions, blockchain, crypto-collectibles and Non-Fungible Tokens. Let us give you a guided tour of all the features.
On the Auctionity Saleroom, you will find all the best crypto assets for sale!
Right now, two categories of Non-Fungible Tokens are available, but new ones will be added as we are developing partnerships with major crypto assets in the next couple of weeks.
By clicking on a crypto asset, you will access the product page featuring all the characteristics of the asset for sale, including its ID, current price and number of bids, the time remaining, and the seller description. If an auctioneer is already set to animate the auction, a short video introducing the crypto asset is available, as well as an additional description and estimated price given by the auctioneer.
At the end of the auction (around 10 minutes before its end), the video will be replaced by a livestream animated by the auctioneer themselves.
Before accessing the dashboard, you will first be asked to log in using Metamask or a Hardware Wallet (Ledger or Trezor).
You can then navigate between different tabs: seller, bidder or deposit history.
On the seller section, you will be invited to create your first auction. You will have to deposit your ERC 721 asset onto your account before being able to sell it. The asset will be on an escrow Ethereum Smart contract. This contract guarantees that you and only you can create an auction for this token.
Let’s create your first auction on blockchain with Auctionity!
Once your NFT is deposited, you will have to configure your auction by choosing its beginning price, time duration and the amount of community reward you would like to give. Don’t forget that this part is extremely important as the community reward is split between the different referrals, such as the bidders, as well as the auctioneer who will animate the auction.
In the bidder section, you will find the different bids you placed, the auctions you host and the ones in which you took part, and your ETH deposit.
The Auctionity team will soon publish tutorials explaining some further details on how to create an auction, how to bid, or even how to become an auctioneer or referrer.
With Auctionity, auctions become viral! By joining the Auctionity Club, you can apply to become an Auctioneer on auctions. As an auctioneer, you will get 20% of the Community Reward by animating the auction with a livestream on the Auctionity Saleroom.
here you can see all the auctions you can apply to as auctioneer.
the window showing the details of the asset such as its price and when the auction is set to end before applying as an auctioneer.
Once you have applied, you can access your applications, filter the auctions for which you are the auctioneer, past auctions you have animated as an auctioneer, pending applications, and rejected applications.
If you click on Your earnings, you will see everything you have earned from the community reward, detailing how it was split between all participants and how much you got for being the auctioneer
You will find further explanations about how to become an auctioneer and how to prepare your live in upcoming tutorial videos.
