June is over and it’s now time to look back on what has been accomplished for Auctionity this month. We have been busy with numerous events over the past few months nourishing existing relationships and establishing new ones with some amazing companies and we keep on going in that direction to get Auctionity the visibility it deserves. We have been simultaneously improving the platform and tweaking some parameters to make it awesome. We released a good number of new features in June but we are not stopping there just yet. Here’s a roundup of the latest and most relevant achievements for this month, enjoy.
The NFT family keeps growing on Auctionity. New categories are being added regularly and this month we are excited to welcome MyCryptoHeroes and the SuperRare as our latest NFT categories.
« My Crypto Heroes is an RPG battle game that is built on the Ethereum blockchain. Play with historical inspired heroes, go on quests to find rare items, and battle against other players for rewards and fame. »
« Rare digital art, aka crypto art, is limited-edition collectible art cryptographically registered with a token on the blockchain. Blockchain technology allows unique, provably-scarce tokens to be held and securely traded from one collector to another. They represent transparent, audit-able origin and provenance for a piece of digital art. »
In an effort to make the platform better than ever, we have reworked some features and added some exciting new ones. The Auctionity saleroom now supports multi-auctioneer sales, which means that more than one auctioneer can animate a given sale. This means more choices for the buyer who wants to watch a live auction but also a wider variety of languages spoken at once for a sale.
The dev team also spent a good amount of time working on a few bits here and there to homogenize user experience over the platform and make the saleroom experience even more coherent. The referral page and the wallet history view have been revamped to improve readability while other options have been added. Here is a list of the major improvements that have taken place on the platform:
We hope you will enjoy these new features and we will appreciate any feedback you may have regarding the platform.
The International Digital Art Festival was a two-day conference and digital art gallery showcasing the very best in VR, AR, rare digital art, AI, NFTs & blockchain technology from the worlds most respected artists, designers & innovators. Begoña, Claire and Kevin were on location on June 26-27 to present Auctionity and also to animate 4 auctions of crypto artworks broadcasted live on the Auctionity platform.
The live auction format got a warm welcome from the audience who actively participated and counted down in excitement the seconds left before the end of an auction. Witnessing such enthusiasm really comforted us in the idea that live, animated auctions are something that will help Auctionity become the standard for live blockchain auctions. The artists also appreciated that some time was taken to actually speak about the artworks themselves and not just the prices, which is new and refreshing in the current configuration.

Auctionity project manager Etienne Roudeix participated in a AMA meetup on WeChat. The meetup took place on the group “Xiao G” BlockChain School which boasts about 500 members. Etienne first did a presentation on how Auctionity scaled the Ethereum blockchain then continued with a session of Q&A. It was a good opportunity to give visibility to Auctionity among Chinese blockchain community and we got a warm welcome. You can have a look at conference transcript published in chinese and english
Auctionity team is working on building the future of auctions and to make it real. This is why we are going to spend our efforts on facilitating blockchain mass adoption, by accelerating at a fast pace.
In july our dev team will launch a new release, including a new category.
September and October we will open a new chapter for Auctionity with the integration of DRT. In accordance with the roadmap, we will be finalizing the integration of our ERC-20 token over the course of the summer period to enable the option to buy and sell NFTs in DRT.
