We made the most of this month and are gearing up for a big release. Check out our March progress.
The Creative Challenge we ran with KnownOrigin is now over. We are really delighted to have collaborated and initiated this great partnership. We received a compelling response from the creative and crypto art community: over 45 submissions were submitted by the crypto art community! KnowOrigin then allowed the community to take the lead on deciding on the winners through a simple vote.
Congratulations to all the WINNERS of the @Auctionity #CreativeChallenge – 1st @barabeke 2nd @ConnieDigital 3rd @stina_jones – Check out the full top 10 Ranking. A big THANK YOU to everyone who voted. pic.twitter.com/UvwPOxFktg

The winning artworks will be sold and accompanied by special livestreams on Auctionity. The auctioneer will host the auction by sharing the background of the artists and giving some insight about the artwork and how inspiration came. We will soon communicate about these auctions.
The idea behind this challenge was to promote crypto art and show what the blockchain technology can bring to the table, as we already mentioned in a previous article about how blockchain is shaping the world of art.
We’re focusing our efforts to build the best auction marketplace. Our team has been working hard on the UX, improving the seller & buyer dashboards and refactoring the deposit & bidding tunnels. A lot of work has been done to bypass possible obstacles for mass adoption by making the experience as smooth as possible. With this in mind, we integrated Portis and decided to optimize the seller / bidder dashboard. Then, in addition of Metamask and Portis, we are going to add a new way to sign in. An announcement will be made as soon as it will be fully functional. This new feature will help to increase the massive adoption of Auctionity as it will be simpler to connect and sign in.
Bidders and sellers will now have a dedicated dashboard and transaction tunnels will be revamped
We have also made some significant progress in developing partnerships. We are very happy to announce that two new Non-Fungible Tokens categories have been added onto the Saleroom!
Introducing Chibi Fighters and Blockchain Cuties on the Saleroom
Chibi Fighters is a Ethereum blockchain-based game. Chibis are fearless warriors who can battle bosses, go on adventures, level and gear up. As they are collectible ERC-721 tokens, they can be easily traded, now on Auctionity too!
Blockchain cuties are the cutest crypto-collectibles from an adventure game. Players can choose from various species of cuties to collect, trade, breed and send on adventures. Each cutie is unique and 100% belongs to you. Players get to collect them, breed them, test their skills in battles, arm them and even level them up! In-game economy supports trade using smart contracts on Ethereum, EOS and TRON blockchains. Each cutie, which is a non-fungible, can be transferred or sold to other players just like a regular cryptocurrency.
You can now sell and buy Blockchain Cuties on Auctionity.
Auctionity will attend both the Crypto Games Conference and the Paris Blockchain Week
Following our previous participation at the Crypto Games Conference last year, our team will be back in Minsk to participate in this year’s upcoming event. Auctionity is officially a sponsor and will be exhibiting. At the same time, Auctionity will organize an exceptional live auction of an exclusive Blockchain Cutie: Darta-nyan, a Gen0, French-style Musketeer. This auction sale will be for the benefit of TeenGuru, a project of the Imaguru Startup HUB from Minsk dedicated to education for kids and teens (between the age of 9 and 17) in the spheres of business, entrepreneurship and technology.
We will give more information about this very special sale in an upcoming article.
Our team will participate in one of the biggest blockchain events that will be held in Paris on April 16th and 17th. We will be exhibiting at booth number 9, so feel free to swing by in order to meet us and discuss Auctionity and blockchain with Tristan, Christophe, Damien, Julien and Paul from our team.
The team is heads down working on use of the token and building a more understandable and approachable marketing content for our tools and our apps. In January, we worked on improving some great UI/UX updates. Our partnership with KnownOrigin has been going great and we are building some other promising ones.We are confident in our team’s progress. In the long run, progress will win out over the short term hype train.
