Dear DomRaider Community, it has been another busy month at the DomRaider Group offices! After an intense period of development for Auctionity, we are back to give you a brief update on what has been going on these past few weeks:
Thoughts on the current Crypto Market
You have certainly noticed already but crypto holders ave recently taken a wild ride along a bearish downward-sloping market. No one can predict precisely what the future holds for crypto markets and you should probably be careful of those who pretend they can. But sunshine usually follows the rain, so we are entitled to expect better days. Nevertheless, a temporary bearish market is nothing to worry about for DRT holders as the Auctionity is a mid to long term project. True holders will reap the benefits of their loyal support eventually.
Dev Tools
We are getting some positive feedback on the developers toolkit testing launched these past weeks:
- Open API, which comes along with a user-friendly documentation, allows anybody to use it and bring their own auction implementation to the Auctionity blockchain. You can also learn how to customize the widget thanks to Florian’s tutorial “Auctionity widget advanced integration”
- Block Explorer has been configured to allow everybody to check the history of transactions and witness the transparency and immutability of the Auctionity blockchain.
We are still improving it, so if you have any feedback, feel free to share it with us. We would appreciate it!
The Team continues to expand
Ramping up recruitment was one of our goals, and we can gladly say we now have this covered. Talented new people have joined our team and we are glad to have recently welcomed some awesome new team members that we would like you to meet.
In May and June we are going to welcome new team members, to reinforce our development and market teams. As usual we would like to provide you with in-depth about our latest recruitment and introduce you to our new team mates.
Joining DomRaider
Are you interested in joining the blockchain revolution? We are always looking for high quality profiles. Check out our careers page at https://jobs.domraider.com to apply!
Kickstarting Auctionity’s adoption through the development of partnerships.
The Auctionity platform is opening up to full utility for all interested third-party early adopters and partners. Live auctioneers, escrows, appraisal experts, delivery services and online auctions providers will all be able to join the network, provide their services and add value to the blockchain. Experimentations with Auctionity’s blockchain are being conducted to test the real-life implementation of decentralized real-time auctions.
We are in contact with many companies interested by the blockchain auction process. It is a little bit early to tell you more but as soon as it will become official we will give status updates as they come. But we can affirm that our decentralized blockchain auctions business continues to be well received by many players involved in the auction world. A good example is that the biggest and most prestigious Auction houses Sotheby’s and Christie’s are showing more and more interest for blockchain in the art world…

Get to grips with the blockchain technology shaping the future of the art market with the Christie’s Art+Tech Summit. DomRaider will participate in this annual one-day conference that will take place in London on July 17th 2018.
The community will be able soon to see how much of the required work has been completed so far, and get a thorough understanding of the business applications of Auctionity. We’re slowly ramping up our marketing and business plans to even ensure growth whilst making sure our ecosystem can handle it.
Communication and Exhibitions
Communication is still one of our main points of focus. DomRaider is not slowing down in its outreach and external communication efforts. We’re looking forward to taking part in some of the greatest exhibitions in the coming months as we want to be an active participant in high profile events, be it as exhibitor or speaker.
We participated in Blockchain Expo Global 2018 that took place in London on April 18–19. Thousands of attendees came to discuss business applications for blockchain tech. While we did not have our own booth, the aim for DomRaider was to interact with the blockchain and financial communities to share our objectives on building Auctionity into a decentralized and secured auction platform at a world level. In addition, it has also allowed us to raise our awareness among the blockchain players and to build promising new partnerships with like-minded companies that might lead to bigger expansion opportunities down the road.

We have also focused on local action. We were at Digital SummR , an important event in Lyon. Our CEO Tristan recently took part in a panel discussion on the following topic “Blockchain: who for, what for and how?”.
We also participated in another local event during the Innovation Week in Clermont-Ferrand, where DomRaider has its HQ, to promote DomRaider as a major French actor in blockchain field.

Social Channels in Numbers
DomRaider has a wonderful community, and as previously said in our latest story dedicated to community members, we do care about our contributors’ and supporters’ opinion. Though we may have a few disagreements sometimes, there is a lot we can learn from each other about Auctionity’s development and the vision of the DomRaider group. Our primary focus is to nurture our current community and the members who joined the project in its early stages, especially by listening them, answering their questions and also by elaborating a loyalty program to reward them (spoiler alert!).
Meanwhile, we are also developing and extending the DRT holders base and brand awareness. That is why our community keeps on growing with a steady stream of new followers joining us across our different social media channels:
Have you noticed that there are specific twitter accounts for each project? Follow @DomRaider to be informed about the latest news about the DomRaider Group news and the token and @Auctionity for Auctionity related content. The same goes for our Medium as well:
We are going to double down on community management as a new Social Media Manager has been hired and is going to join the team in the coming weeks. So even if you cannot make it to our events and meetups, you know where to find us:

What’s next?
Well, there is a lot of work still to be done, but we are hard at it. We’re excited about what’s coming next for DomRaider. In May, we are expecting to see and share more results from the big work that was done in the previous month. The most representative exemple of that is the Payment Guarantee. Previously expected to be launched by the end of Q2 2018, we have good hope it will merge sooner! Meanwhile we are creating interesting partnerships in the space of marketing and business, that will be crucial for Auctionity development.
Then, get ready to see much more of us than you were accustomed to. In the meantime, stay tuned for more information and, as always, reach out to us on social media if you have any questions.
