Welcome to the July Monthly update. As you may have noticed, we compiled all our content into the Auctionity blog. This was done to keep you updated in one place on the latest advancements of the Auctionity project that the DomRaider team is building.
Let’s get into the details of what has been happening in the last four weeks.
Roadshow
NFT conference in Hong Kong
NIFTY took place in Hong Kong from 24th to 26th of July. It was the world’s first conference of its kind, dedicated to the emerging ecosystem of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT), Blockchain Gaming and Collectibles. The event gathered about 800 players of the crypto-collectibles sector, including Auctionity, represented by DomRaider CEO and founder, Tristan Colombet. It was an excellent opportunity for Auctionity to meet some of the greatest and most passionate people that are setting NFTs, dApps and the Crypto-Collectibles ecosystem in motion. Tristan had over 30 meetings and got a chance to talk about Auctionity, Non-Fungible Tokens and ERC-721 usages with people such as Benny Giang from CryptoKitties, Jayson Hu from Decentraland, Bruno Larvol from Rxxo.io, Yiji He, creator of HyperDragons, Jimmy Chen CEO of PlayTable, Jun Gong from Dapp.com, Devin Finzer co-founder of OpenSea, team members from Coinbase and many others…

We can’t make any official announcements right now but we are very optimistic regarding the future. These first meetings are opening some great opportunities, particularly in the field of interoperability between Auctionity and ERC-721.
Going to Finland: Sponsoring Blockchain Gamer Connects
The Blockchain Gamer Connects will be happening in Helsinki, Finland on the 11th and 12th of September 2018. This event, sponsored by Auctionity, will tackle a number of different topics, including blockchain basics, ICO insights and token trends, Dapps and in-game digital assets. Karin Mikluha, our International Development Officer, has been invited as a speaker for this event and will explain what blockchain has to offer to the gaming world and how it will revolutionize the gaming industry. Come and meet her to discuss this blooming market.
Yellow Paper
The Auctionity Yellow Paper has just been published on July 30. It is the first research result released by the Auctionity team, the LIMOS (Laboratory of Informatics, Modeling and Optimization of Systems, Aubière — France), UNESP (São Paulo State University — Brazil), and ENSIMAG (Top French educational institution in IT, Applied Mathematics and Telecommunication, Grenoble — France).
This Yellow Paper is a scientific document. It explains the implementation of a cryptographic protocol into the blockchain-auction ecosystem that Auctionity has built. It is technical and relies on mathematical demonstrations, so reading it requires some level of expertise. The aim of this Yellow Paper is to bring proof of how the blockchain ecosystem works, based on cryptographic and mathematical statements.
The publication of the Auctionity Yellow Paper is a major milestone for the Auctionity project, which first stones were laid with the release of the Auctionity TestNet launched this month, and the launch of the Auctionity MainNet in September.
Auctionity Club
This month also saw the announcement of a new feature, the Content Reward Program, a community initiative for members who are particularly efficient at spreading the word around for Auctionity. The Auctionity Club is very important for the growth of the project. If you want to get involved, then hop on the train and join the Auctionity Club.
Auctionity is taking shape
Over the past month, we carried out a lot of preparatory and technical work for the big release scheduled in September: the full version of Auctionity is coming with its 3 big features, Delivery Guarantee, SaleRoom and Community Reward. On the technical front, our dev team is more than ever extremely focused on updating our project architecture in preparation for this launch: back-end — including blockchain aspects — and front-end aspects are both coming in nicely. You can get a small glimpse of some interface previews of incoming releases.

Auctionity Club and SaleRoom, front and back-end frameworks
Meanwhile the Auctionity TestNet we launched in early July received some interesting feedback, helping us to improve it and move forward.
After the last developments made during this first semester, and especially after the launch of Payment Guarantee, everything is taking place so that full scale marketing and business can really take off. Indeed marketing and business teams are working together relentlessly towards this launch: partnerships, PR, advertising, video commercials, tutorials, and more content are in progress. The latest discussions we had with the future strategic players of the Non-Fungible Tokens market comforts us in the idea that this emerging market is in full expansion and that Auctionity has an important part to play in it. And that is why Auctionity is a pioneer in the NFT universe thanks to its blockchain auction-dedicated ecosystem.
In the coming weeks, we will give you further details, so don’t forget to follow us on our blog. Watch out for our August news update, which will feature even more exciting announcements. We also know that DRT holders and supporters are waiting for positive signals. Next month we will explain the new usages of DRT in Auctionity operating Live, 100% Blockchain-based Public Auctions, and how the DRT will gain momentum.
Now, a lot still remains to be done and we will continue to make every effort to guarantee the successful launch in September.
We are making things happen: Auctionity is on the right track.
We still need you to show your support: if you haven’t done so yet, follow us on our various media, relay our communications to spread the word and stay tuned for more updates!
