The past few weeks were full of steady progress and we are achieving some great results. Let’s have a look at what has been accomplished and how we are going to revolutionize the auction market.
Auctionity is LIVE now and going PUBLIC shortly
Over the last few months, we focused very much on building our product, Auctionity. Everyone at our company worked together with the help of Cryptographic experts from the LIMOS (Laboratory of Computing, Modelling and Optimization of the Systems) to validate the scientific aspects, to test out the base of our protocol and to validate the first pieces of our peer to peer network. As part of the exercise, we launched a private alpha testnet a few months ago. And Auctionity is now live. We are finalizing the last details and fixing a few UI/UX bugs before making it public. It will be done in a couple of days, and we will communicate soon the URL of the Auctionity blockchain.
With Auctionity, you can sell or purchase non-Fungible Tokens, with the assurance that you will be paid and receive your crypto assets thanks to the payment and delivery guarantee that blockchain enables. Today, Non-Fungible Tokens take the form of Crypto-Collectibles such as CryptoKitties, but this is really just the beginning. NFTs have a huge potential and we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg here.

New website, video and content
As we have made important progress while developping the Auctionity platform, we have generated a lot of content to explain the big picture around Auctionity and how it works: how to enjoy the Community Reward, how to apply to be Auctioneer, how to make your first ETH deposit, how to sell your NFT or bid… As Auctionity springs up, we are alloting a lot of attention, time and efforts to making it as simple and user-friendly as possible.
The newly designed Auctionity website will be live this week. We believe the site will make it easy for everyone to find all necessary information in the fastest way possible. We kept it as simple and efficient as possible.
New Team Members
We are glad to welcome Jérémy as a blockchain developer joining the Auctionity team. He works on the blockchain coding aspects of Auctionity.
Our team continues to grow and we will welcome new people next month to develop the business and traction of Auctionity.
Roadshow
Blockchain Games Conference — Finland
Karin, our International Development Officer, went to Helsinki, Finland, to participate in the Global Blockchain Games Conference in September. She met many “enablers”, i.e. people and companies aiming to blockchainize your game, NFT creating tools or platforms, and also Game publishers and individuals or game studios with game project involving NFTs. Karin managed to cumulate about 20 one-to-one meetings to introduce Auctionity. People were really excited and interested in our blockchain platform and asked to receive more information and see it working (“when live?“ was a common question).
Blockchain Game Summit — France
A few days ago, we participated in the Blockchain Game Summit that took place in Lyon, France. A great opportunity to spread our outreach network, grow our communities and establish new partnerships in the field of gaming. We had interesting discussions with Ubisoft regarding the addition of blockchain in gaming and long-term scalability. Tristan had further discussions with some NFT creators for possible collaboration opportunities with Auctionity in the future.
Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference — Belarus
We have many other events already scheduled: the next one will held at Minsk, Belarus. Svetlana and Begoña from our team will be there as we sponsor the event, and we will also be speakers. We will have a booth for Auctionity, so people are more thanwelcome to come meet us and talk about the project.
In addition we will offer a Premium Pass ticket to the event (215€ value)
We will also participate to other meet ups, like the Blockchain Games 2018 in November
What’s next?
Now we are launching the Auctionity Saleroom, things are going to get bigger. We know that there is plenty of work to do. We have just built the first application and now have to develop this market and business, working with selected partners within the Auctionity ecosystem.
After the release and the very first feedback collected, we are currently polishing the key elements of the marketing and business aspects of our strategy. Further details on the vision and the business of Auctionity will be given soon.
